How to play Glass Jaw
By the Glass Jaw development team · Updated July 31, 2026
1. Create your fighter
Choose a name, home city, weight class, fighting background, techniques, appearance, and starting attributes. Your background shapes the skills and moves you begin with, while your bonus points let you round out weaknesses or lean into a specialty.
2. Build a career one week at a time
Each advance moves the calendar forward. Use the time between fights to develop your fighter, recover, and prepare for the next opportunity. Your fighter ages during the career, so every training choice and matchup has a cost.
3. Accept the right fight
Fight offers show the opponent and timing before you commit. Winning improves your record and opens harder competition as you move from the amateur circuit to the regional level and then the World Fighting League.
4. Choose a plan and fight
Before a bout, choose how your fighter should approach it. Fights can end by knockout, technical knockout, submission, or the judges’ scorecards. Styles, skills, techniques, fatigue, and the matchup all influence what happens.
5. Chase the belt and leave a legacy
Climb the rankings, earn a title opportunity, defend the championship, and decide when to retire. A completed career records its results and can produce a shareable retirement card.
