How do I buy gold, and is it the same on the app and the website?
Open the STORE tab and pick a pack from GOLD PACKS. The six packs run from HAND WRAP (100 gold) up to DYNASTY (7,500 gold), with the price shown on each card in your store's currency. The bigger packs carry a bonus, also shown on the card.
On the iPhone and Android apps, the App Store or Google Play handles the purchase. On playglassjaw.com, checkout happens in the browser. The packs, the prices and the wallet are the same everywhere: it is one account, so gold bought on the phone shows up in the browser and the other way round.
From the Stable, a locked fighter slot opens the BUY GOLD counter directly. If a purchase has not landed yet, the store shows PURCHASE BEING CONFIRMED; do not buy again until it clears.
Can I gift gold to a friend or move it between accounts?
No. Gold stays on the account that earned or bought it and cannot be sent to another player, traded, or pooled. There is no gifting feature.
Camps are the place where players spend together, and even there wallets stay separate. Members chip cash, not gold, into the camp pool, and the pool only ever spends on the camp itself. A co-owner who holds THE KEYS pays for gold-priced upgrades from their own wallet. Everything your account buys stays yours, including fighter slots and Style Shop looks, which every fighter in your stable can use.
Does buying gold make my fighter win more?
No. Nothing in the store changes what happens in the cage. Fights are decided by the two fighters' attributes, skills, techniques, condition and game plans, and gold is not an input to any of that.
What gold buys is time and convenience. FINISH TRAINING ends a session you had already started, with the XP it was going to give. ACCELERATED CAMP buys XP, but it is the same XP training gives, it ages your fighter, and its price climbs every time. INSTANT RECOVERY brings back condition you would have regained by resting. Looks from the Style Shop are looks only. Gold cannot buy a stat, a technique, a rank, a title shot or a result.
Everyone, paying or not, meets the same matchmaking rules and fights under the same engine.
How many fighters can I have, and how do I get more slots?
Every account includes two fighter slots. Each extra slot costs 300 gold, from ADD FIGHTER SLOT on the STORE tab or from the Stable when the next slot is locked. Purchased slots are permanent and belong to the account, not to a fighter.
Slots are account-wide, so you can run fighters in different weight classes and tiers from one stable. One limit applies: a stable may have at most two active careers in the same weight class, so a third fighter at Lightweight has to wait until one of the first two retires or moves weight. Retired fighters stay in your stable as legends with their records intact.
How do I earn gold without paying?
Every new account starts with a gold grant. The store prints the rule for the rest: first belt wins pay 25 gold, champions earn 25 gold for winning a defense against a human top-3 challenger, bot defenses pay zero, and training streaks and showing up can roll bonus gold.
In practice:
- Win a belt for the first time in a tier and weight class: NEW CHAMPION +25 GOLD on the payout strip.
- Beat a human challenger ranked in the top three when the defense was booked: HUMAN TOP 3 DEFENSE +25 GOLD.
- Pull off an upset and your fight history may carry an UPSET gold tag.
- A word from your sponsor can land on HQ with a little gold for turning up, or for a fighter who trained seven days straight.
Bonuses show when they land; the game never shows odds or counts misses.
My purchase did not go through, or I want a refund. What do I do?
If gold has not landed, wait a moment first: the store shows PURCHASE BEING CONFIRMED while it checks, with a CHECK AGAIN button. Do not buy the pack again. On the app, RESTORE PURCHASES in Settings re-reads your store receipts and credits anything that was missed.
For refunds, the store that charged you handles it. Purchases made in the iPhone app are refunded by Apple through your Apple account, and purchases made in the Android app go through Google Play. Purchases made on the website are handled by Glass Jaw: email [email protected] with the account ID shown on the PURCHASES page.
For anything else, use the Feedback box in Settings. It goes straight to the developer and you get an answer in the game.
Where can I see my purchase history?
On the website, open Settings and tap VIEW PURCHASES, or use YOUR PURCHASES ▶ at the top of the gold packs in the STORE. The PURCHASES page lists your most recent gold pack orders from any platform: date, pack, gold, the price as the store charged it, where it was bought (APP STORE, GOOGLE PLAY, WEB or GRANTED), and the status (CREDITED, REFUNDED or PART REFUNDED). A RECEIPTS AND HELP section shows your account ID and where to go for a receipt or help with a charge.
On the phone there is no in-app history page on purpose: the App Store and Google Play hold your receipts and order history there, under your Apple or Google account.
What is the Style Shop?
The STYLE SHOP sits under the gold counter on the STORE tab. It sells looks, never stats: banners that hang over your HQ and your rankings rows, backgrounds for your fighter's poster and tale of the tape, and NAME FX that color or animate your fighter's name wherever it prints, from RED SCARE to FINAL BOSS.
Prices run from BASIC items at 25 gold up to ELITE at 150, shown on each card. You buy once per account, so a look you own can be worn by any fighter in your stable; each fighter equips their own picks from the YOUR LOOK preview above the cards. Some looks are earned instead of sold: a reigning champion wears a champion's border for exactly as long as they hold a belt.
Reduce Motion in your device settings holds every animated look still.
What can I spend gold on?
The STORE tab lists WHAT GOLD DOES, with the price on each button:
- ⏩ FINISH TRAINING: end the running session now. 20 gold per hour of the session; same-day skips raise the rate.
- 🧊 INSTANT RECOVERY: 40 gold for condition back and damage off. Repeat treatments are weaker for one day.
- 🎓 ACCELERATED CAMP: 120 gold for +250 XP, and your fighter ages three months. The price climbs with every camp in that career.
- 💱 EXCHANGE: 100 gold for $5,000 to your fighter. One-way only.
- 🥇 ADD FIGHTER SLOT: 300 gold for a permanent extra slot. Two are included.
Below that, the STYLE SHOP sells looks. Elsewhere, gold charters a camp (1,300 gold), rolls a new scout board of coaches, and pays part of the price of the higher gym tiers and new gyms in the GM OFFICE.
What is gold?
Gold is the League's account currency, separate from your fighter's cash. Cash is what a fighter earns in the cage and spends on their own career: corner wages, camp dues, chipping into the pool. Gold belongs to the account and is shared across every fighter in your stable.
You earn gold by playing (first belt wins, defenses against top human contenders, bonuses for showing up and for training streaks) and you can buy it in gold packs. You spend it on shortcuts and extras: finishing a training session early, instant recovery, an extra fighter slot, looks in the Style Shop, chartering a camp, and gym tiers in the GM OFFICE. Nothing gold buys enters the cage with you.
